Today we’re reviewing the newest member of the Dremel family, the Dremel Multi-Max 3.5 MP Variable Speed Corded Oscillating Tool. This thing is pretty cool and includes some new features compared to the older model that make it “new and improved.”
The Dremel Corded Oscillating Tool is a great addition to the Dremel family. One thing Dremel really focused on when they made this was perfecting the blade change and their hard work really paid off. The Dremel Cordless Oscillating Tool has a tool-less blade change providing the ability to change blades faster and reposition blades easier. This is an awesome feature and makes blade changing an effortless process on this tool. The Dremel oscillating tool also incorporates a new quick-hold accessory interface that allows for a “one handed operation” while changing blades. The blade is held in place while the user secures it. This one handed operation definitely is convenient and makes blade changing much easier then it was on past Dremel products. The Dremel Corded Oscillating tool also has a wide variable speed range from 10k to 21k oscillations per minute. Basically, there are 10 speeds on this tool giving you maximum control over speed which in turn allows you to be more precise in your work. Overall, the Dremel Corded Oscillating Tool is well built and this specific kit includes 12 accessories along with a soft carrying bag that you can use to store the tool and accessories. Keep in mind too, the Dremel Corded Oscillating tool has an extra wide 3.2 degree angle of oscillation which helps deliver fast and precise cuts.
Coming in under $100 I feel the price on this for what you get is great. Dremel tools are reliable and long lasting so for $99 you get the tool, accessories, and a carrying bag which is a great deal. Its corded, but a solid tool to have in the truck or in the house just incase you need it.
This tool is a good complement to have , at an affordable price. It may not be the highest capacity, or best tool on the market from DREMEL. But with that, this Dremel Corded Oscillating tool makes owning a tool much more approachable and the tool itself has some really cool and easy to use features. Coming in at an affordable price point, I think this is a super solid buy.
