Recently I’ve been tackling a bunch of new products. Between finally tackling the home renovation to expanding what types of projects I can provide to my clients, I’ve found that I like to keep my workshop stocked with all the tools I could possibly need. And, at that -- I’ll never be upset about having access to some of the best tools in the game.

That’s why I was super psyched when I was asked to try out the RYOBI ONE+™ Soldering Station. This is the world’s largest 18-volt tool system of its kind, meaning you can rest assured that it will provide the power you need. Well, being the wise guy that I tend to be, I decided I had to really put the RYOBI ONE+™ Soldering Station to the test for myself, which I’m super excited to share with all of you.

RYOBI ONE+™ Soldering Station: The Specs

Temperature Control & Unlimited Runtime with the RYOBI ONE+™ Soldering Station

During the home renovation, I’ve found a handful of projects around the house that could benefit from a quick solder. With the RYOBI ONE+™ Soldering Station, each of these projects was a breeze. The RYOBI ONE+™ Soldering Station is made with hybrid technology, meaning it can be used wirelessly off battery power or with cord operation. With the chord, users have up to a three-foot reach to tackle nearly any application. This is super exciting for me because I never know exactly when soldering projects will come up in my house or workshop - or the size and scale of the task - so I really appreciate that the RYOBI ONE+™ Soldering Station allows me a bunch of freedom with this technology.

One of the first things I noticed about the RYOBI ONE+™ Soldering Station is the high temperature it’s capable of reaching. Capable of heating anywhere between 300 and 900 degrees Fahrenheit, the RYOBI ONE+™ Soldering Station can tackle solders with nearly any filler metal, even those with a high melting point. Additionally, temperature control on the RYOBI ONE+™ Soldering Station allows you to set and maintain the desired temperature with ease, meaning you can rest assured that you’ll get the solder right the first time. On top of high temperatures and plenty of versatility, the RYOBI ONE+™ Soldering Station has a safe iron holder and an LED-indicator to let you know when the tip is hot, so you can rest assured that storage of this powerful machine is always done safely.

The Price:

Great Value for the Powerful RYOBI ONE+™ Soldering Station

When looking at comparable soldering stations, the RYOBI ONE+™ Soldering Station falls right in the middle of the pack. This is because of its 18-Volt power and the versatility that comes with the hybrid system. If you’re someone looking for a great soldering station, you really can’t go wrong with this one. Priced under 100 dollars and capable of melting nearly any filler metal you’ll be using, the RYOBI ONE+™ Soldering Station is an investment that’s going to stand up to all of your upcoming projects as well as the projects well down the road.

RYOBI ONE+™ Soldering Station: $81.57

My Thoughts:

A Great Investment for Frequent Solderers

Even as someone who only finds himself soldering every once in a blue moon, I’m super excited to now have this guy in my shop. I’ve said this before, but I like knowing that I have the right tools for the job that I can depend on, even if it means not always getting the cheapest model on the market. Great tools like the RYOBI ONE+™ Soldering Station are an investment in my home, my shop, and the work I put into my clients, and knowing that this thing will never let me down makes it a super valuable tool in my arsenal. Take my word for it -- this thing has you covered.
