For those of you who are unfamiliar, let me tell you a little about Pittsburgh winters. While this past winter was on the relatively mild side and we saw less snowfall than usual, this winter was nothing to glance over. Most winters are full of bone-chilling temperatures, cloudy days, and slick winters. The whole city goes from a bright, vibrant city to a grey and gloomy area with people avoiding the outdoors as much as possible.

As you can imagine, these cold and wet temperatures make it extremely important for me to have my big old truck. But tracking in all the salt and moisture takes a toll. Combine this with dog hair from my golden retrievers (the ultimate shotgun riders) and dust and dirt from my shop and you have quite the mess on your hands.

This kind of mess, along with the messes I find in my shop on a daily basis, makes me especially grateful for the RIDGID 18V 9 Gal. Cordless Wet/Dry Shop Vac: the full-size cordless shop vac that handles the messes in every corner of my life. This thing has really changed the way I clean up in my shop, truck, and more and I can’t wait to share it with you guys. Right here. Right now.

RIDGID 18V 9 Gal. Cordless Wet/Dry Shop Vac: The Specs

The Full-Size Cordless Shop Vac of My Dreams

Rigid 18V Shop Vac

A few inherent issues exist with shop vacs. For starters, they’re often difficult to maneuver with tricky wheels and a cord that seems to get caught on everything. If you switch out for a cordless shop vac, they often don’t last long or don’t have the same capacity as a classic shop vac.

That is — until the RIDGID 18V 9 Gal. Cordless Wet/Dry Shop Vac came and stole the show. The RIDGID 18V 9 Gal. Cordless Wet/Dry Shop Vac is the cordless AND full-size shop vac that is perfect for tackling everything from car cleaning, shop and construction messes, and even day-to-day cleaning in high-volume areas. With RIDGID, you know you’re not sacrificing quality or durability for usability.

This cordless shop vac doesn’t mean you’re sacrificing power, either. Choose between running on 1 or 2 batteries (sold separately) for longer runtime than you’d ever imagine from a cordless shop vac. Even running off the battery, the RIDGID 18V 9 Gal. Cordless Wet/Dry Shop Vac supplies 82 cfm of suction power, giving you the power to tackle some serious debris.

All this is covered under a RIDGID lifetime warranty so you can rest assured that you’re buying a product that is backed by the manufacturer’s confidence. In my book, the RIDGID 18V 9 Gal. Cordless Wet/Dry Shop Vac is a win-win: a great product to use and a product that I know is going to last in my shop.

I have plenty of uses for a shop vac like this in my shop, which makes a quality tool like this such a no brainer. Cordless Wet/Dry Shop Vac is versatile and easy to use whether you’re cleaning your car or working on a home renovation project, making it a great purchase for nearly everyone. Best of all, they top this thing off with a lifetime warranty so you know that it’s a once and done purchase that will last and last.
