So, most of the time I write reviews on tools and don’t get to do too many “accessories” that we as builders often times use and don’t even think about it. I was stoked to have the opportunity to review this HUSKY Workshop Bundle and test out some products that are somewhat off the beaten path from the usual tool review.

First off, my fiancé is big on purses, so I know as much about those as she talks about but for obvious reasons, can’t really relate. Well, guess what, now I can relate because I got to test out the ultimate builder man-purse! Don’t go telling your friends you’re reading a review about a man purse, but for real, this thing is about as close to a purse as I’ll ever carry, and I really think it’s a great thing to have. The HUSKY PRO Hybrid Tote features reinforced edging for added durability. Anyone who has ever had a soft sided tool box/bag knows that durability is key and this thing can definitely take a beating. The HUSKY PRO hybrid tote is made from 1680D Polyester Fabric, which is definitely strong. One of the things I like most about the HUSKY PRO Hybrid Tote is that it includes a large universal center storage for larger tools. This allows you to keep your larger tools separated, so you don’t lose your smaller tools among them.
Next in the HUSKY Workshop Bundle, I’m going to talk about something else that I don’t know too much about, but enjoyed testing out, knee pads. The HUSKY Soft Cap Gel Knee Pads are definitely something that I could see guys using if they are doing a lot of work on the ground, so any kind of concrete work, or floor laying. The HUSKY Soft Cap Gel Knee Pads have a tough, nylon molded shell for comfort. Like I said, I hardly ever wear knee pads, but if I did I can imagine these are some of the more comfortable ones on the market. They have a wide, single neoprene comfort strap and a hook and loop closure. Overall, the HUSKY Soft Cap Gel Knee Pads enable comfortable kneeling, and protect against impacts. I think one of the reasons why these are so comfortable is because they use Next generation gel and memory foam protection. Definitely a great option if you spend a lot of your work day on your knees, but not something you have to have if you’re doing woodwork.
The last part of the HUSKY Workshop Bundle that I really enjoyed was the Husky Wood Handle Sporting Knife. I always have a knife on me for work, and everyday tasks like opening packages etc. This HUSKY Wood Handle Sporting Knife is a great, inexpensive option with a killer warranty. The HUSKY Wood Handle Sporting Knife features a 2.875” blade and a rosewood knife handle. Yes, it’s small, but practical for everyday use. The best part about this Husky Wood Handle Sporting Knife is that it comes with a lifetime warranty, no questions asked, and no receipt required. This is huge. Not many companies have a warranty this encompassing, so it shows how confident HUSKY is in their product that they would offer this.
The HUSKY Workshop Bundle has 3 parts to it so I’m going to individually list the prices below:
The fact that you can get this HUSKY Workshop Bundle for under $100 is pretty impressive. Not only do you get three quality HUSKY products, but you get the lifetime warranty with the knife which is huge. Father’s day is coming up, and if you have a Father who works in the building or construction industry, this might be the perfect bundle for him!
This "Bundle" is packed full of some good quality, and affordable shop tools. I am really digging the Tote, which i did not expect. It has a wide open top, which is really cool. It allows for lots of flexibility and versatility. I do have to say i use a pocket knife daily and having another one around doesn't upset me at all, especially one for $7! Ironically i never use knee pads like i said, but go figure i was tiling my master bedroom last week and boom, there you go. Needed some knee pads and they came in handy. So in my opinion, this bundle has a lot of value and HUSKY is really stepping it up with some awesome quality and affordable tools!
