Diablo Demo Demon & Ultra Finish Saw Blade

Back in October, in the spirit of Halloween, I did a review on some pretty sick Diablo Reciprocating Saw blades. As anyone who read that review knows, I was a big fan of the Diablo reciprocating blades so I was super pumped to try out their circular saw blades. I know Christmas is over and we’re still dealing with a good bit of cold weather to come, but it’s never too early to start planning out your spring and summer projects and these Diablo Blades can help you get the job done. For this review, we’re going to take a look at the Diablo 6-1/2 x 24T Demo Demon Saw Blade and the Diablo 6-1/2 x 60T Ultra Finish Saw Blade.

SPECIFICATIONS:

Diablo Ultra Finish

The Diablo 6-1/2 x 24T Demo Demon Saw Blade is really top of the line when it comes to circular saw blades. This Diablo Demo Demon Blade has lock-tooth technology for a strong bond between the carbide tooth and the blade for deep impact resistance and longer life. When I’m working on a project and in the zone, the last thing I want to worry about is changing my circular saw blade so the fact that this Diablo Demo Demon blade has a longer life really makes all the difference. This Diablo Demo Demon blade also possesses pyramid tooth geometry for superior tracking control and smooth, effortless cuts. The last thing you want to do is have your work suffer because of an inadequate blade. The Diablo Demo Demon Blade doesn’t let this happen and as I said, provides smooth cuts so you don’t have to worry. Lastly, the Diablo Demo Demon Blade has tri-metal shock resistant brazing which allows the carbide tips to withstand extreme impact for maximum durability. This makes the Diablo Demo Demon Blade able to get through long, tough projects with ease which is extremely important.

The next Diablo Blade we’re going to look at is the Diablo 6-1/2 x 60T Ultra Finish Saw Blade. This blade is great for specialty projects such as cabinet making, but can also withstand general construction work as well. The Diablo Ultra Finish Blade has TiCo hi-density carbide specifically designed for each application to increase performance. This allows the Diablo Ultra Finish Blade to be very versatile with projects which is always a good feature. The Diablo Ultra Finish Blade has super thin, laser cut kerf for fast, durable, and clean cuts. As many of you know, I am all about the clean cut and this blade provides that. Lastly, the Diablo Ultra Finish blade has tri-metal shock resistant brazing which allows the carbide tips to withstand extreme impact for maximum durability.

PRICING:

Price: Since there’s two blades we’ll break these down individually.

The fact that you can get both of these blades for under $40 is a pretty good deal. Keep in mind they are durable, and long lasting so for the quality they’re worth it. I always think its better to spend a little bit more money and get a higher quality blade then settle for a less expensive blade and sacrifice quality.

MY THOUGHTS:

Diablo is leading the way in saw blades with high cut capacity and longevity. Neither of these fall short. Both are awesome and get the job done well. Being smaller blades they're great for the DIY'er or weekend warrior, and will seldom need replacing. All in all, im a big fan and would recommend these to just about anyone!
