If you’ve been following along with my videos, you’ve seen that my project are constantly getting bigger and bigger. I’ve moved on from my days of wooden toy trucks (though I still find myself making fun gifts like this every once in a while) to massive tables, metalworking, and mixed-medium designs for my clients.

As I slowly switch to this go big or go home type of work, I’ve found that I’ve needed to ramp up my arsenal of tools to complement the type of projects I’m taking on. That’s why it’s been so great partnering with the Home Depot to try out a variety of tools and accessories that make my job that much easier. Because of this, I was super hype when they asked me to try out a few framing and demolition blades by Diablo in my recent work -- and these blades certainly did not disappoint. Strong, versatile, and equitable, these blades really did impress me. Check out my more detailed reviews below and try them out for yourself!

Diablo 6 ½” & 5 ½” Framing and Demolition Blades: The Specs

Blades for Nearly Any Application in Your Workshop

My work has really been all over the place lately. From home renovation projects to massive live edge river tables, I’ve certainly had my hands full and have had a blast using a number of different materials in my work. I challenged myself a while back to grow my welding capabilities, and now I can say with confidence that I’ve finally got the hang of things -- and hopefully as my viewers, you have too.

These Diablo blades have really made all the difference in my ability to tackle a number of projects. Among the blades in my workshop, one of the most versatile has to be the Diablo 6-1/2 in. x 32-Teeth Wood and Metal Saw Blade. This is the industry’s first multi-purpose saw blade for cutting clean wood and wood with nails, meaning it’s been perfect for tackling reclaimed wood projects. It’s made Diablo TiCo Carbide that withstands the impact of the materials you use, making for a longer blade lifespan over time. Best of all, it’s great for both metal and wood applications, saving me time during break-down in switching from one blade to another.

I’ve also found that the Diablo 6-1/2 in. x 24-Teeth Framing Saw Blade is one I truly can’t live without. This blade is compatible with any 6-½” circ saw and guarantees the cleanest possible cuts and rips every time with its super-thin kerf and tri-metal shock-resistant brazing. This has really saved me a lot of time and money and has become some sort of ‘old reliable’ in my shop.

Sometimes, however, I do make the switch over to the Diablo 5-1/2 in. x 18-Tooth Fast Framing Saw Blade with Bushings when I’m in need of a fast cut. This thing is great for everything from hardwoods to plywood and softwoods, making it great for when I’m doing high-volume projects (like the time I challenged myself to create 25 crates in 8 hours).

Great Value for Blades Built to Last

I realize that most of the people tuning into my videos are hobbyists who aren’t creating projects in high volume the way I am. Whether you’re a woodworker for hobby or for hustle, these Diablo 6 ½” & 5 ½” Framing and Demolition Blades really bring the power and reliability you want in your shop. This trio is capable of tackling nearly any project you challenge them to, making them a worthwhile purchase at home or in a professional workshop.

Diablo 6-1/2 in. x 32-Teeth Wood and Metal Saw Blade: $24.97

Diablo 6-1/2 in. x 24-Teeth Framing Saw Blade: $10.97

Diablo 5-1/2 in. x 18-Tooth Fast Framing Saw Blade with Bushings: $13.97

My Thoughts

Versatility Matters in Every Workshop

As I mentioned, I realize that most of my viewers are backyard and garage builders, meaning that every dime you invest in your tool arsenal matters. You want power, reliability, and versatility, and Diablo blades certainly have a way of delivering on all of those needs. Capable of tackling both wood and metal, getting that clean and flawless cut each and every time, these Diablo 6 ½” & 5 ½” Framing and Demolition Blades keep me moving on every single project without fault. Try them out for yourself and let me know what you think -- and better yet, share with me in the comments the projects you’ve tackled with their help.
