RIDGID 16 Gal. 6.5-Peak HP NXT Wet Dry Vacuum with Detachable Blower

I feel like everyone should have a nice shop vac, even if they aren’t a builder. I mean, think of how versatile a nice, quality, shop vac is and the various things you can use it for. One of the main things that I have used a shop vac for outside the shop is cleaning out my car, so you really don’t have to be a builder to get use out of one. I’m not saying you should buy your mother one for her birthday (unless she really wants one), but it definitely is a great piece of equipment to have around your shop, garage, or in your home.  If you need a blower as well, you're gonna wanna check out this Ridgid Wet Dry Vacuum.

Ridgid Wet Dry Vacuum

SPECIFICATIONS:

The Ridgid 16 Gal. 6.5-Peak HP NXT Wet Dry Vacuum with Detachable blower is a quality, 2 in 1 shop vac that has just come on the market. The Ridgid Wet Dry Vacuum is part of the most powerful line of vacs rigid has ever made. It has a maximum power 6.5 peak horsepower NXT which makes for an effortless heavy-duty cleanup. This Rigid Wet Dry Vacuum has 9 design upgrades from the last model including a detachable blower. Some of the convenience features include comfort grip drum carry handles, a large top carry handle, large power switch and swivel casters with accessory storage. Another thing I love about this Rigid Wet Dry Vacuum is that it includes some pretty sick storage features which you don’t always get on shop vacs. The Ridgid Wet Dry Vacuum includes hose storage that keeps the hose neat and secure when stowing and transporting, and a tool storage caddy that securely stores the attached accessories even when you’re lifting an emptying the drum. This is a great feature because it keeps all of the accessories in one place so you don’t lose anything. Now, I mentioned above this is a 2 in 1 product so you’re probably wondering where I’m getting the 2 in 1 thing. TheRidgid Wet Dry Vacuum offers a vacuum tool (duh), along with a detachable emission free blower that conveniently allows you to blow any debris that you may have.

PRICING:

Ridgid Wet Dry Vacuum

One of the best things about this vacuum is the price. Typically, when a company comes out with a new or upgraded model, we see an increase in price as well, but not in this case. TheRidgid Wet Dry Vacuum is the same low price as the previous model coming in at $119.00 for the vacuum. Keep in mind, you will need to purchase the dust bags separately but a 2 pack of those are $18.97, which isn’t bad at all.

MY THOUGHTS:

Having a solid shop vacuum is important, everyone knows that. With that being said, i like the versatility of this vac. If you're a home owner, or a home shop owner, you'll be able to get a ton of use out of this thing. The blower is a cool feature for open door shops, and is nice in a pinch if you dont have a cordless or gas powered blower. Or, if you don't have one period and dont mind a cord, boom. You're in business. It is priced comparably well to s standard vac, and includes the bonus blower and accessories. All in all , a solid tool!
