DIABLO RECIPROCATING SAW BLADES

I am starting to get into the holiday spirit with Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, slowly creeping up on us. That being said I thought it would be a good time to do a saw blade review, just in case you were looking for the most efficient way to carve your turkey (just kidding). While these blades might not be the best stocking stuffer for obvious reasons, they definitely can help get some of your pre-holiday projects done!

Diablo 9in. 9TPI Demo Demon blade

The first of the Diablo Reciprocating Saw Blades is the Diablo 9in. 9TPI Demo Demon blade that has a carbide tooth design for up to 50x cutting life in wood and metal applications. Yes, you read that right, wood AND metal applications. This is one of the first blades on the market designed specifically to cut both wood and metal making it an extremely efficient choice. The variable tooth technology provides faster cuts with less vibration. The decreased vibration gives you more accuracy with your cuts which is extremely important. The Diablo 9in. 9TPI Demo Demon blade is ideal for cutting nail-embedded wood, ferrous metal applications with a 3/32 in. ¼ in. T and PVC/pipe materials. Overall, this is an extremely useful and versatile blade.

Diablo 9in. Pruning and Clean Wood blade

The Next in the Diablo Reciprocating Saw Blades, we have the Diablo 9in. Pruning and Clean Wood blade. This is a more specialized blade giving the ultimate cutting performance in clean wood, and pruning applications. Like the demo demon blade, this blade is designed to last 50x longer, making it an awesome choice. The Diablo 9in. Pruning and Clean Wood blade has an aggressive carbide tooth geometry that delivers fast and effortless cuts. Lastly, it has large blade gullets between the teeth that provide for fast chip removal. All in all, this is a great blade for pruning and clean wood projects.

Diablo 9in. Steel Demon Metal Cutting blade

The Last of the Diablo Reciprocating Saw Blades, we have the Diablo 9in. Steel Demon Metal Cutting blade. This blade, as you can probably tell by the name, is designed specifically for metal cutting projects. This blade possess high performance carbide for greater durability and 50x cutting performance in medium metal applications. The Diablo Steel Demon blade has 10 TPI tooth geometry for clean/smooth finishes on medium metal application. It is ideal for cutting ferrous metals and high strength alloys between 3/32in. to ¼ in. Overall, this is yet another durable solid blade by Diablo.

PRICE

Since we have 3 blades here, I broke them down by price.

Being able to get all 3 of these blades for under $40, is a great deal. They are durable and long lasting as well which makes it an even better bang for your buck. Overall, Diablo really has the market cornered on price and durability, especially with these blades.

MY THOUGHTS

Being someone sho doesn't really use a recip. saw a ton, these blades are amazingly impressive. They honestly blew me away when I got to demo them when Diablo debut'ed them, and are still just as impressive. When it comes to the life of these blades, they for sure outlast the competition and make it well worth the price. These blades are a great buy, and a great value.
