So up to this point you have done a ton of work setting yourself up to chase your dream.
Who knows... this isn't for everyone. And I will say again, this is NOT for everyone.
Working for yourself is a dream most of us have had. Owning a business, owning your time, owning whichever part of your life you want to take back. But I will tell you this, this shit is not easy. Scraping by with barely enough income to pay for groceries at times is not fun. Learning how to turn 20 bucks into 100 to make sure you pay rent is a skill set. At this point you need to do some major reflection.
Creating things with your hands is fun. Turning it into your dream lifestyle can take away from that at times. So you have to be ready to control your emotions and stabilize your mood in order to succeed.
My dude Teddy Roosevelt once said:
So be ready for difficult times. Prepare yourself mentally for what is to come. When things get hard, do not panic. I repeat. Do not panic. You will figure out a way to get through it, and you will be successful if you are truly meant to live this life.
Don't be an ass when you get your first sniff of success. For example, when you get your first commission for a few thousand bucks, resist the urge to go and drop it on a new table saw you saw on YouTube. I have been there. Life is a balance of temptation and necessity.
If you approach your next step correctly with a level head, and an open mind. You can succeed in whatever it is you put your passion towards.
